- In SAP Cloud Appliance Library, choose Accounts.
- Choose Edit for the account you want to change.
To edit the general properties of the account, choose Edit Header
modify the properties and choose OK.
Property Description Name Enter a name for the account. Description Enter a description for the account. This entry is optional.
On the Cloud Provider tab page, modify the details of the cloud
Property Description Cloud Provider The configured cloud provider for the SAP Cloud Appliance Library account. Access Key (appears once Amazon Web Services is selected) The access key for the selected account of the AWS cloud provider (for reference, see the Cloud Provider ID property). Your access key identifies you as the party responsible for service requests. Secret Key (appears once Amazon Web Services is selected) The secret key for the selected account of the AWS cloud provider (for reference, see the Cloud Provider ID property). Each access key has a secret key associated with it. This key is just a long string of characters (and not a file), which you use to calculate the digital signature that you include in the request.
Your secret key is a secret, and only you and AWS should know what it is. Do not e-mail it to anyone, include it in any AWS requests, or post it on the AWS Discussion Forums.
Subscription ID (appears once Microsoft Azure or Azure China 21Vianet is selected) The unique subscription ID (GUID) of your subscription in Microsoft Azure or Azure China 21Vianet. Authorization Type (appears once Microsoft Azure or Azure China 21Vianet is selected) Select the authorization type to establish the connection to the cloud provider. There are the following types from which you could choose:
- Standard AuthorizationThe standard authorization includes only basic permissions to create and manage solution instances.
- Extended Authorization for Kubernetes
ClusterThe extended authorization includes additional permissions to create and manage solution instances with Kubernetes clusters.

You have to create an application registration and assign the role Contributor to the corresponding application for your subscription. When you select this type, you must specify the following additional Microsoft Azure properties:
- Azure Active Directory ID
- Application ID
- Application Password
Project ID (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) This entry is a customized name for the created project in Google Cloud Platform. Private Key ID (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) This is the private key of your service account from Google Cloud Platform. JSON (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) With the JSON file you establish a connection between SAP Cloud Appliance Library and Google Cloud Platform. You can get it when you create a service account or for an existing service account you could create a new private key in Google Cloud Platform.
If the status of your account in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library is Inactive, you have to choose Test Connection to check what is the problem with the connection to Google Cloud Platform. And then you could browse and upload a new JSON file.

If the selected cloud provider is Microsoft Azure or Azure China 21Vianet and your account in SAP Cloud Appliance Library is with a status Inactive, you have to choose Authorize to establish the connection to the cloud provider and grant permissions to SAP Cloud Appliance Library to access your Azure Active Directory. Then the consent dialog is displayed and you have to choose Accept. After that you will be redirected again to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library.

On the Default Network tab page, you could clear the
default network configurations (region, network and subnet) for the account, if
you want to use other network settings when you create instance using this
On the Account Users tab page, modify the users who you want to
assign to the account.
- Assigning Users
- To assign the user as a user in the account, enter the user and
then choose Add. Then select the user
You can select one or more users at once and then add them to the account of SAP Cloud Appliance Library.
- To assign the user as an owner in the account, enter the user and then choose Add. Then select the user role Owner.
- To assign the user as an operator in the account, enter the user and then choose Add. Then select the user role Operator.
- Another easy option to assign users in your account is to invite them via their e-mails by choosing Invite and then enter the e-mails and what will be their role in the account: User, Owner or Operator. When you invite users to your account, they will receive a notification e-mail to accept the invitation via a direct link to your tenant.

- To assign the user as a user in the account, enter the user and then choose Add. Then select the user role User.
- Changing Users Roles
To change the user role, select the user and choose one of the roles: User, Owner or Operator.
To remove a user from the account, select the user and then choose Remove. If the users you want to remove have activated instances for the account, you must either assign all instances to yourself or terminate them all. The operations you can execute for these instances depend on your permissions in the account.
- Assigning Users
On the Instance Tags tab page, manage up (add, edit or remove) to
three custom properties that will be added as tags or labels on the cloud
provider resources created via SAP Cloud Appliance Library. These tags can be
used to analyze the cloud provider account activities.
- Save your entries.
- Optional: Choose Cancel if you want to discard the changes to the account.
