Description Enter a description for the account. This entry is optional.
  4. On the Cloud Provider tab page, modify the details of the cloud provider.
    Property Description
Cloud Provider The configured cloud provider for the SAP Cloud Appliance Library account.
Access Key (appears once Amazon Web Services is selected) The access key for the selected account of the AWS cloud provider (for reference, see the Cloud Provider ID property). Your access key identifies you as the party responsible for service requests.
Secret Key (appears once Amazon Web Services is selected) The secret key for the selected account of the AWS cloud provider (for reference, see the Cloud Provider ID property). Each access key has a secret key associated with it. This key is just a long string of characters (and not a file), which you use to calculate the digital signature that you include in the request.

Your secret key is a secret, and only you and AWS should know what it is. Do not e-mail it to anyone, include it in any AWS requests, or post it on the AWS Discussion Forums.

Subscription ID (appears once Microsoft Azure is selected) The unique subscription ID (GUID) of your subscription in Microsoft Azure.
Project ID (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) This entry is a customized name for the created project in Google Cloud Platform.
Private Key ID (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) This is the private key of your service account from Google Cloud Platform.
JSON (appears once Google Cloud Platform is selected) With the JSON file you establish a connection between SAP Cloud Appliance Library and Google Cloud Platform. You can get it when you create a service account or for an existing service account you could create a new private key in Google Cloud Platform.

If the status of your account in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library is Inactive, you have to choose Test Connection to check what is the problem with the connection to Google Cloud Platform. And then you could browse and upload a new JSON file.

For more information about service account keys, see the Google Cloud Platform documentation.

If the selected cloud provider is Microsoft Azure and your account in SAP Cloud Appliance Library is with a status Inactive, you have to choose Authorize to establish the connection to the cloud provider and grant permissions to SAP Cloud Appliance Library to access your Azure Active Directory. Then the consent dialog from Microsoft Azure is displayed and you have to choose Accept. After that you will be redirected again to the SAP Cloud Appliance Library.

  5. On the Default Network tab page, you could clear the default network configurations (region, network and subnet) for the account, if you want to use other network settings when you create instance using this account.

If the users you want to remove have activated instances for the account, you must either assign all instances to yourself or terminate them all. The operations you can execute for these instances depend on your permissions in the account.

  7. Save your entries.
  8. Optional: Choose Cancel if you want to discard the changes to the account.
